We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2022, at the age of 86, Elsie Marie Short of Greenup, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Hawes and Myrtle Hawes (Gast); her husband Robert Lee "Bob" Short; and her siblings, Marshall, Johnny, Douglas, Robert Dale Hawes, Helen Small, Carolyn Bland, Linda Niccum, Norma Kendall and Edith Bright.

She is survived by: her children, Sherry Short and Gary Short; and her grandchildren, Jacob James Short and Tia Renee Short.
