He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Phipps and Elma Frances Phipps (Walters); his son Larry Alan Phipps; his great grandchild McKenzie Phipps; his siblings, Betty Kuhn (Max), Wanda Powell (Jim), Roger Richey and Larry Phipps; and his brothers-in-law, Dave Dryden and Albert Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Marge; his daughter-in-law Ginger Phipps; his grandchildren, Kristan Williams, Matthew Phipps (Jennifer) and Adam Phipps (Emily); his great grandchildren, Macey Daugherty (Jacob), Katelyn Phipps, Kolby Phipps, Eva Phipps, Alan Phipps and Abigail Phipps; and his siblings, Bill Phipps (Kay), Bob Richey (Dee), Katherine Cox and Dorothy Dryden.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barkley Funeral Chapel (300 N Kentucky St, Greenup, IL 62428). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
