She was predeceased by: her parents, David Shupe and Edith Shupe (Trimble); her husband Donald D. Aleshire; her sons, James and Eddie; her brother Dale F. Shupe; and her great grandchild Lucas James.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Shobe, Marilyn Post (Buddy) and Linda Shepherd (Bruce); her grandchildren, Stacey James, April James (Kirk), Jeri Shobe, Dana Ruholl (Arlin) and Donnie Starwalt (Meggan); her great grandchildren, Jonathon, Amelia, Bethany Starwalt, Lacey Thoele (Ryan), Dillon Ruholl (Renee), Rowdy Ruholl, Maverick Ruholl, Shae Zumbahlen (Nick) and Morgan James (Renee); and her great great grandchildren, Paisley, Porter, Lenora, Natalie, Lane, Arthur, Reba, Lily, Oliver and Ella.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barkley Funeral Chapel (300 N Kentucky St, Greenup, IL 62428). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Danville VA Activity Fund or Donor's Choice.
