It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Faye Ferris of Greenup, Illinois, born in Springfield, Tennessee, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Darrell; her children, Darrell Glenn Ferris, Jr., Shannon Storm (Brion), Melissa Maxey (Jay) and James Ferris (Kaylee); her grandchildren, Dara Storm, Garrett Storm, Cassie Bickel (Austin), Jaylynn Schober (Sebastian), Dakota Ferris (Nichole), Macey Maxey, Jarin Maxey, Mason Ferris and Makenlynn Ferris; her great grandchildren, Owen Bickel and Adalee Maxey; her brothers, Paul Decker (Anne) and Jeff Decker (Angie); and her aunts, Dora Sherrick of Sebring, FL and Melba Rainwater of Adams, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
