He is survived by: his sons, Ronnie Settles (Jane) of Carrollton, Randy Settles (Gina) of Carrollton and Roger Settles (Mandy) of Carrollton; his grandchildren, Elissa Graham (Derek), Laura Boehm (Eric), Brendan Settles (Faith), Garrett Settles, Delaney Settles, Lucas Settles and Wyatt Settles; his great grandchildren, Tate, Maely, Grace Lynn, Esther and Isla; his siblings, Barbara Danyluk, Sue Vinyard (Jim) and Billy Settles (Jan); and his sister-in-law Linda Settles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home (604 Walnut, Greenfield, IL 62044). A masonic service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Carrollton City Cemetery (870 Eighth St, Carrollton, IL 62016).
Memorials are suggested to the Eldred Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
