It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice L. Franz of Greenfield, Illinois, born in Grafton, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo P. Franz and Lucille I. Franz (Wallace); his wife Judith Anne Cole; and his brother Kenneth Franz. He is survived by: his nephew Mark Franz; his nieces, Debbie Hill, Martha Infuentes and Elizabeth Sidwell; his stepsons, Jeff Coker and Brian Coker (Janet); his stepgrandchildren, Chrissy Prevost (Reis) and Cayden Coker; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Jaley Marie Prevost and Piper Rose Prevost.
Memorials are suggested to the Greenfield United Methodist Church.
