She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Gibler and Lela Gibler (Grissom); her husband Franklin Neil "Pop" Houlette August; her son James; and her daughter-in-law Ingeborg Johnston.
She is survived by: her son Warren Neil; her grandchildren, Lutz, Sigrid and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Ulli, Brianna, Tait and Winston; and her great-niece Tammy Grafford-Kirkpatrick.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Charity Southern Baptist Church in Greenfield.
