He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn R. Friedrich and Jeanette R. Friedrich (Dunn); his stepparents, William H. Fischer and Margaret Friedrich; and his sister Becky Fischer.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay "Sandy" Fischer; his children, Susan Weirup (Chad) of Lost Nation, Lori Ann Lockard (Rob) of Roselle and Steve Friedrich (Cori) of Bartonville; his grandchildren, Damon McFarlane of Maquoketa, Kassandra Streets (Dave) of Maquoketa, Avery Guenther of Colorado, Madison Green of Bloomington, Emily Green of Roselle, Keegan Weirup of Lost Nation and Garrett Lockard of Roselle; his great grandchild Kailey McFarlane of Maquoketa; and his brothers, Michael Fischer of Manito, David Friedrich (Cheryl) of Green Valley and Danny Fischer of Farmer City.
