She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gamache and Theresa Gamache (Obey); her husband Howard Richard Whitehead; her sister Carol Wade; and her sister-in-law June Feaman.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lou Wills (Gary) of Simpsonville and Dave Whitehead (Kathy) of Braceville; and her grandchildren, Andrew Wills (Sally) of Simpsonville, Matthew Wills of Simpsonville, Jason Wills (Vicki) of Jacksonville, Mike Whitehead (Dawn Eppler) of Braidwood, Melissa Williams of Channahon, Carrie Garner (Patrick) of Diamond and Robbie Whitehead of Coal City. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
