He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardell Schultz and Dorothy Mae Schultz (Nixon); and his daughter-in-law Teresa Schultz. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann "Pat" Backus; his children, Edwin "Ed" Schultz, Jr. of Marquette Heights, Bill Schultz of Green Valley, Dave Schultz (Connie) of Mapleton, Aaron Schultz (Stormy) of Marquette Heights and Christie Huffman (Joe) of Marquette Heights; and his sisters, Lorraine Simmons of Kansas City, Patricia Lou Schultz of Peoria and Vicki Lynn Williams of Utah. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
