He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Schureman and Lucy Schureman (Detroye); and his great grandchild Jane Wallenfang. He is survived by: his wife Corine F. "Coney" Scharf; his children, Tom Schureman (Lisa) of Green Valley, Jean Ringenberg (Jeff) of Peoria and Bill Schureman (Kate) of Morton; his grandchildren, Amy DeKeyser (Marcus) of Frankfort, Laura Wallenfang (Tom) of Peoria, Katie Wilson (Bill) of Aurora, Sarah Williams (Jordan) of Morton, Bobby Schureman (Amelia) of Pekin and Tommy Schureman of Hannibal, Missouri; his sister Mary Dalton of Menomonee Falls; and his close friend Shirley Schroeder of Metamora. He is also survived by two nieces and four nephews.
