With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Lechner (Great Lakes, Illinois), born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on June 14, 2018 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lechner and Jeanette Lechner (DeSmith); his grandson Matthew Kline; and his siblings, Chuck and Linda Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Tess; his daughters, Jayne Porter (Steve) of Wheelersburg, OH, Jeana Burch (Larry) of Huntingtown, MD and Jodi Bauer (Tad) of Durand; his grandchildren, Shannon (Jason), Michael, Kayla (Chris), Josh, Taylor, Kelcie, Breleigh, Bently and Brinly; his great grandchildren, Ava, Kody and Konner; and his siblings, Bob (Mary Jo) of Menomonie, Joe of Elmwood, Tom (Dawn) of Elmwood, Mary Kallio (Ron) of Menomonie and Lori Lechner (Nancy) of Menomonie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
