He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenard Doty and Lyndell Doty (Felty); his brother Ron; his grandson-in-law Joshua Garner; and his pet Bo.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Doty of Cowling; his daughter Michelle Doty (Glenn Hasenour) of Evansville; his grandchildren, Betty Loyd (Alex) of Owensboro, Teri Garner of Owensboro, Amanda Simpson (Miguel Torres) of Owensboro, Ashley Davenport (Zack) of Cowling and Korvin Doty of Owensboro; his great grandchildren, Molly, Leeland, Amelia, Blakely, Evelyn and Josie; his siblings, Talbott Doty (Melody) of Bastrop, Steve Doty (Cindy) of San Antonio, Greg Doty (Melissa) of Grayville and Sonya Runyon of Bone Gap, Illinois; and his sister-in-law Paula Doty of Darlington. He is also survived by extended family: many brothers & sisters in law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
