She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard V. Hawkins and Agnes Hawkins (McKay); her son Darrin Cowling; and her siblings, Charles, Victor, Jack Hawkins, Betty Ann Hawkins, Rebecca Joyce Gulley and Rose Marie Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Cowling, Jr. of Grayville and Amy Catt of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; her brother Michael Hawkins of Albion, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Cohen Cowling, James Catt and William Catt.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cook Funeral Chapel (221 N 1st St, Grayville, IL 62844). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
