It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Michael Maier of Grayville, Illinois, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on March 1, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Maier and Frances Maier (Coe). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Maier (Cooper) of Grayville; his children, Robert Michael Maier, Jr. (Robin) of Champaign, Illinois and Jessica Schnack (Derek) of Chicago; his stepchildren, Damien Stoneberger of San Diego, Joseph Stoneberger of Grayville, Brian Stoneberger (Katie) and Tara Cooper of Woodlawn, Illinois; his siblings, Paul Maier (Joan) of Griffin, Indiana, Elizabeth and Margo; his grandchildren, Meric, Julius, Avery, Evelyn, Owen, Zoe and Daphne; and his pets, Jessie and Maizee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
