Phyllis Broster Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2022, at the age of 89, Phyllis Broster of Grayville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Estel "Pat" Dixon and Dorothy Dixon (Trousdale); her husband Bob "B. B." Broster; her siblings-in-law, Neil Curtis and Norma Ruth Healy; and her nephew Sean Curtis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Daniel (Steve) of Grayville, Patti Carr (Mike) of Grayville and Bev Iles (George David) of Browns, Illinois; her siblings, Richard Dixon (Mary Margaret) and Marilyn Kay Curtis of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; her sisters-in-law, Mary Jean Siegert and Marjorie Steele; her grandchildren, Ashley Murphy (Levi York) and Chloe Iles; her great grandchildren, Kolbi, Kodi, Kali, Jacob and Ethan; her close friend Cherry Williams; and also, Jamie Murphy and Jay Williams. She is also survived by several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In honor of Phyllis' love of reading, memorials may be made to Groff Public Library and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville.
