It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael L. McGarvey (Grayville, Illinois), who passed away on January 13, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Raymond McGarvey, Sr. and Lola Jewel McGarvey (Simmons); his siblings, William Raymond McGarvey, II and Sandra Jane Lee (Richard); and his nephew Thomas Lynn McGarvey.

He is survived by: his children, William McGarvey (Jeannie) of Carmi, Illinois and Michelle Doty (Glenn Hasenour) of Evansville; his brothers, David McGarvey of Grayville and Jerry McGarvey (Betty) of Grayville; his grandchildren, Betty Jane Loyd (Alex), Teri Simpson (Josh Garner), Amanda Simpson (Miguel Torres), Korvin Doty, Shawna Browning and Quinton Watt; and his great grandchildren, Molly, Leeland, Amelia, Blakely, Eva, Weasley and Bear.
