He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lawrence Butler and Margaret Ruth Butler (Helck); and his brother Gary Butler. He is survived by: his brother Tom Butler of Boise, Idaho; and his close friend Lena Owen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
