It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Kay Carrell (Grayville, Illinois), born in Mount Carmel, Illinois, who passed away on March 10, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Prince and Sarah Meeler; her grandparents, Ernie and Mary Sturm; and her aunt Natalie Sturm.

She is survived by: her husband Michael Carrell of Grayville; her children, Paul Carrell (Bettina) of West Salem, Illinois and Kristi Garza (Pete) of Grayville; her brother James R. "J. R."; and her grandchildren, Austin Hamilton-Garza, Cordero Garza, Jacob Carrell, Makayla Carrell, John Carrell and Aaron Carrell.

Memorials may be made to Grayville Senior Center and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville.
