We are sad to announce that on August 10, 2021, at the age of 100, Grace Elizabeth Shelton of Grayville, Illinois, born in Mill Shoals, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Bain and Helen Bain (Sumner); her husband Walter Shelton; her grandson Doug Shelton; and her siblings, Mary Large, Nellie Shelton, Edward Bain, Lillian Bennett, John Bain, Ruth Jamerson, Leda Roeder and Wilma Bain.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Shelton and Gail Carrell (Charles) of Grayville; her grandchildren, Lisa Cowling (David) and Chris Shelton (Kellie); her great grandchildren, Trajon Shelton, Jason Cowling (Mariah), Emily Cowling, Allison Shelton and Chloe Shelton; and her great great grandchild Mila Cowling. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Northside Baptist Church and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville.
