He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Goodwin and Kathleen Goodwin (Sumner); his wife Dolores M. Goodwin (Golonka); his siblings, Larry Goodwin and Phyllis Rhodes; and his son-in-law Dean Newman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Newman of Grayville and Charlotte Morrison (Mike) of Wadesville, Indiana; his sisters, Lugenea Simms (Larry) and Tanja Williams (Steve); his grandchildren, Jennifer Newman (Tony Garrison), Bobby Newman (Tabitha) and Kaitlyn Dillon (Dakota); his great grandchildren, Chloe Dillon, Jayce Dillon, Myles Dillon, Emelia Newman and Mason Stover; and his close friend Belle Goodwin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
