He was predeceased by: his parents, Byrom Frederick Ward and Frankie Stella Ward (Robinson); his wife Marjorie Ella Ward (Payne); and his siblings, Jack Ward, Marguerite Bond and Martha Rector.
He is survived by: his children, Burl Ward (Jo) of Phoenix, Arizona, Beverley Nichols (Jake) of Lubbock, Robin Finch (Jim) and Shawna Irvine; and his brother Bob Ward (Dorothy) of Grayville, Illinois. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
