He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; his sister Grace; and his parents, Fred and Adella. He is survived by: his son Ed (Sharon); his granddaughter Liz Wiltberger (Tim); his great great grandchildren, Georgia, Sofia, Elliana and Maddisyn; and his brother Stan Ahrens (Marilyn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the McMurrough Funeral Chapel (101 Park Pl, Libertyville, IL 60048). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
