It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M. Thomas of Grayslake, Illinois, who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Bart and Rose Bart (LeFevre); her husband Andrew Thomas; and her son Danny Thomas (Kate). She is survived by: her daughters, Victoria Prather (Dan), Julia Thomas and Lisa Kutschera (Andrew); her grandchildren, Jason, Nathan (Lindsey), Jarrett, Colin, Meredith (Austin), Spencer, Will, Ben, Emma, Noah, Olivia and Austin; and her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Archie, Penny and Sammy.
