He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leonowitz and Idona Leonowitz; and his half-brother Joe Leonowitz. He is survived by: his children, Richard "Ricky" Leonowitz (Elizabeth) and James "Jim" Leonowitz (Heather); his grandchildren, Madeleine Leonowitz, Declan and Tegan Leonowitz; and his brother John Leonowitz (Judy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
