He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Herman and Ann Herman; his former wife Sally Herman; and his son David Herman. He is survived by: his wife Carol Herman; his children, Ray V. Herman and Kristi Adams (Troy); his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Sebastian Adams, Caithlyn, Ray and Rayna Herman; and his siblings, Dick, Joey Herman and Nancy Federly (Tom). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
