He was predeceased by: his parents, Burness Roydan and Nella Mae Nofsinger; and his sisters, Carolyn Roberts and Nancy McRoy. He is survived by: his wife Leda Berg; his children, Jimmy Dean Winder (Carol) of Bristol, WI, Raymond Nofsinger (Andrea) of Pleasant Prairie, WI and Russell Nofsinger (Yeon Joo Kang) of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Corrina Wood (Brian), Josh Winder (Megan), Samantha Burwinkel (Justin) and Maddie Nofsinger; his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Lyla, Wyatt Wood, Zach and Logan Winder; his pet Fabio; his brother-in-law Dennis Berg (Janice) of Grayslake, IL; and his close friends, Bill Drath (Dolly) of Round Lake, IL and Chuck Husk of Round Lake, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch (1055 Main St, Antioch, IL 60002). The military honors will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Highland Memorial Park (33100 Hunt Club Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048).
