With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Jean Chapman-Burkel (Grayslake, Illinois), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 5, 2018 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Norb; and her brothers, Tom, Jim and Vincent. She is survived by: her children, James Chapman (Matilda), MaryEllen Duncan (David), Michael Chapman (Brenda), Patrice Taube (David), Theresa Wiley (Steve), William Chapman, Cecilia Gerber, Caroline Arbour and Christopher Chapman (Sherry); and her brothers, Jerome Stocking and John Stocking. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
