She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Wagner and Martha Wagner; her former husband Roy; and her siblings, Fred, Robert, Roy, Frank, Helen, Lucille and Marie.

She is survived by: her husband LeRoy Hertel; and her siblings-in-law, Irving, Lindy Hertel of Grayslake and Joan Wagner of Arizona. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
