She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Moone and Leah Moone. She is survived by: her husband Dr. James; her children, Dr. James (Diane), Steven, Michael (Maureen), Susan Quaid-Brohan (Dave) and Kelly; her grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica, Colleen, Robert, Erin, Jake, Harry, Geno, Phoebe, Jackob, Samuel and Alexander; her great grandchildren, Julian, Teagan, Conor, Kieran, Ian, Jackie and Leah; and her brother Robert Moone.

In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 would be greatly appreciated.

“Dear Jim, I just found out from Laura Anderson that Leah passed away. Jim, I am so sorry to hear that! We are praying for God’s comfort for you and your family. Leah is with our Lord now. I would come to the visitation and funeral tomorrow but Carol is not doing well and she doesn’t want me to leave her. She has also been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and she has other physical issues going on right now. My mother and my brother (4 years older than me) both died from Alzheimer’s. Love, Phil/Carol”
