She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Blume and Marie Blume; and her husband Oliver Guy. She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Nancy and Carmen; her nieces and nephews, Bill, Liz, Robert, Frank, David, Celeste, John, Dawn and Samantha; and her friend Dorothy Vogt. She is also survived by her 6 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Chapel (410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gilbert Catholic Church (301 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
