She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlyle Francis and Dagmar Francis; her husband Forrest DeGraff; and her brother James Franci. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jessica Mullen (Kelly), Kerri Thompson (Mark), Micharl Mullen (Liz), Kelly Nicholson (Andrew), Scott Coles (Courtney), Zach Coles (Kayti) and Alex Coles; and her great grandchildren, Genevieve Thompson, Geraldine Thompson, Georgina Thompson, Tatum Coles, Beckham Coles and Felicity Mullen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grayslake Historical Society in memory of Joy.
