He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Rangel and Clara Rangel; his brothers, James Rangel and Gerard Rangel; and his nephews, David "DJ" Kalkstein and Daniel Guerrero.
He is survived by: his wife Margareth "Marge" Rangel; his siblings, Maria Castaneda (late Jesse), Patricia Guerrero (Jose), Leticia Kalkstein, Mary Elizabeth Rangel and Roger Rangel; and his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Mark, James, Sarah, Stephanie, Farid, Julie and Cathy.
