It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Delores Colby (Granville, Illinois), born in Hennepin, Illinois, who passed away on January 28, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Levi and Mary Eliza Smith (Gleason); her husband John Colby; her sister Grace Henning; and her great grandchild Jocelyn Colby.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Borri (Gary) of McNabb and Ken Colby of Hennepin; her sister Helen Henning; and her grandchildren, Jason Colby (Tanya), Josh Colby (Dana), Mike Borri (Kelly), Joe Colby, Christina Eshleman (Josh) and Aimee Hernandez. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
