He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Burden and Shirley Burden (Steele); and his stepchildren, Rhandi, Rhianin and Rhonni Wallace.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Teel of Granville; his children, James Burden Jr. of Peru, Aubrey Bruden of Ladd, Allie Burden of Granville and Morgan Katz of Colorado; his stepdaughters, Rhiley Wallace of Granville and Rhikki Wallace of Florida; and his siblings, Kelly Burden, Leonard Burden, Harold Burden, Kevin Burden, Kristie Smith, Ann Altizer, Linda Burden, Cindy Bornsheuer and Gloria Deffenbaugh.
