He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Redshaw and Lena Redshaw (Burris); his wife Margaret Edith Porschke; his children, Joseph and Jeannie; and his siblings, John and Marjorie.
He is survived by: his children, John Redshaw (Debbie) of Hennepin, Lyle Redshaw (Penny) of Hennepin, Nancy Van (Marshall) of Wyngaerde, Sharon Redshaw of Ft. Collins, CO, Merri Ideler (John) of Glen Ellyn and Jeanette Redshaw of Canton; and his sister Hazel Giering of Pendleton. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
