He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Urnikis and Anna Urnikis (Ragazinski); his wife Ola Mae; and his siblings, Irene, Frances "Toots", Stanley, William, Walter and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Z. Urnikis of Granville, LuAnn Hayward (Harold) of Hennepin and Jennifer A. Pyszka (Eric) of Peru; and his grandchildren, Joshua Hayward, Maleaha Novak (Nick), Ethan Pyszka and Evan Pyszka.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Putnam County Community Center or a charity of donor's choice.
