He was predeceased by: his parents, Granvil William and Kate Travis (Ryan); his wife Shirley Oliver; and his brothers, Kenneth, Donald and Howard.
He is survived by: his former wife Dorothy Jean Lindsey; his children, Bobby Travis (Debra), David Travis (Marcy), Patty Reaves (Allen), Richard Travis (Brenda), Perry Travis (Carole), Jim Travis (Jimmilynn) and John Travis (Kandy); his stepsons, David Oliver (Beverly) and Tim Oliver (Laura); his sister Lois Foss; and his sister-in-law Betty Jo Travis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
