She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bates and Virgie Bates (Summers); and her daughter Joyce Cash. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Rust (Vicki) of Florida, Charlene Emery (Penny) of Illinois, John Rust of New Mexico, Lorretta Everett (Pete) of Illinois and Beverly McBride of Illinois. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 23 great-great grandchildren; 1 brother, Verbal Bates; and many nieces and nephews.
