Brett J. Leathers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2025, at the age of 62, Brett J. Leathers of Grantfork, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Brett departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Brett. Though Brett may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leathers and Marilyn Kay Leathers Jr.; his wife Diane Leathers; and his brothers, Robert Howard Leathers III and Brian Dean Leathers.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Jeanette "Netter" Schuster of Grantfork, IL; his daughters, Jessica Janeil Leathers (Brian Schaefer) and Brittany Jae Leathers (Joshua Parker); and his granddaughter Aurora Deneen Leathers-Schaefer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
