With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy V. Payne of Grant Park, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 16, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Everett and Anna Verle Payne (McGown); his siblings, Eva Elizabeth Anderson (Junior), Dale Payne, Bobby Payne, Peggy, Richard "Pete" Dickerson and Judy Payne; and his daughter Renee Fay Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Fay Linebaugh; his children, Tena Gomolski (Robert), Lori Oertle and Brian Payne; his grandchildren, Kyle Gomolski, Brandi Vent (Steven), Jaimie Oertle, Robert Oertle, Andrew Oertle and Sydney Clarke (Ke'Sean Allen); his siblings, Ronald Payne and Sharon Dickerson; and his sister-in-law Leona Payne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
