He is survived by: his daughter Lorraine Phillips of Granite City; his granddaughter Mary Phillips; his stepchildren, LaDonna Phillips of Belleville and Charles Phillips of Granite City; his siblings, Robert Kemper and Rebecca Utnage McAready; and his cousin Gary Marsala.
