He was predeceased by: his father James H. Childers Sr.; and his siblings, Billy Childers and Cindy Miskel. He is survived by: his mother Jerry Giffin (Tucker) of Granite City; his daughter Kelley; his son-in-law Josh Hotz of Freeburg; his grandchildren, Jackson, Jace and Jorgia Hotz of Freeburg; his siblings, James H. "Chili" Childers Jr. of Granite City, Timothy Childers of Granite City, Jeanette Mahoney of Florida, Rebecca Furtak of Freeburg and Liz; and his brother-in-law Clifford Sanders of Texas. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
