It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Paul French of Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy French and Faye Buford (Goetcher). He is survived by: his wife Linda French of Granite City, IL; his children, Paula French of Granite City, IL, Mark French Sr. (Marcela) of Granite City, IL and Karen Jeffery (Andrew) of Collinsville, IL; his sister Norma Whipple of Old Monroe, MO; his grandchildren, Mark French Jr. (Erica), Landon Jeffery, Olivia Jeffery, Taylor Bauer and Dallas Bauer; and his great grandchild Kingston Bauer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be given to Bethesda Baptist Church or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
