With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Naomi Harrington of Granite City, Illinois, born in Chester, Illinois, who passed away on August 14, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Alvin Yankey; her husband Rev. Lee Harrington; and her siblings, Ruby Mae Kathey and Cloyd Yankey. She is survived by: her mother Helen Yankey (Sianski); her daughter Teresa Schultz (Daniel) of Albion, PA; her stepdaughters, Alice Harrington of Waukegan, IL, Brenda Stone (Wendall) of Ocala, FL and Charlotte Hovland of St. Charles, IL; her sisters, Bonnie Braundmeier (Kenneth) of Maryville, IL and Joyce Wilson (David) of Granite City, IL; and her grandchildren, Larry Schultz (Mary) and Tracey Adams (Jim). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorial donations may be given to City Temple Church. Donations will be accepted at the funeral home or church.
