She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Carpenter and Helen Ruth Carpenter (Drennan); her husband Robert E. "Bob" Brooksher Sr.; her sister Barbara Woods; and her great-nephew Christopher Woods.
She is survived by: her son Robert E.; her daughter-in-law Leah Brooksher Jr. of Granite City; her grandchildren, Tori, Austin Padgett, Isabella Brooksher of Robert James, Kurte Winkle, Kaylee Burgess and Samantha Gihring; her nieces and nephews, Cheryl Resch, Edward "Butch", Vicki Woods, Robin Smith, Stephanie and Jason Hugo; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Walter Hugo, Vivian Hugo, Matthew Michels, Jennifer McCormick and Mikaela Smith; her siblings-in-law, Elaine, Mark Hadley and William Brooksher; and her close friends, Cynthia, Steve Dew, Melissa, Jim Martin, Michael Noble and Samantha Burgess. She is also survived by many great-great nieces and great-great nephews; other extended family.
Memorials may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or to the American Heart Association and may be accepted at the funeral chapel.
