She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Schubert and Ann Schubert (Robertson); her husband Alvin T. "Skeets" Barnes III; her brother Herman Schubert; and her brother-in-law Vernon Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Warren (Gary) of Edwardsville, Debby Lovett (David), Kathy Wehling (Steve) of Edwardsville and Becky Thebeau (Phillip) of Edwardsville; her grandchildren, Jessie Cawvey (Andrew), Jackie Roth (Travis), Jeff Gwinnup (Gwinnup) of Lisa Gwinnup, J. J, Allison Ferry (Josh), Emily Washburn (James), Casey Thebeau (Kayla) and Carly Thebeau; her sister Darlene Thomas of Granite City; and her sister-in-law Pat Schubert of Granite City. She is also survived by many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
