In loving memory of Linda Lou Draper of Granite City, Illinois, who departed this world on November 10, 2024 at the age of 84. Linda Lou leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Pate and Olline; her husband John W. Draper Jr.; and her grandson James R. Draper Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Patricia Durborow; her sons, John W. Draper III and James R. Draper; her grandchildren, Justin Draper (Amy), John W. Draper IV and Emily Draper; and also, Kayden Draper and Courtney Draper.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Vitas Hospice.

“I played cards with Linda at Jerry’s Cafeteria for a couple of years she was a pleasure to be with. I loved her dearly just spoke to her a few months ago and she told me she had cancer. We had such a nice conversation and I told her when I came in town in November I would stop in and see her unfortunately my trip isn’t until the end of November and I guess God needed her sooner. Heaven definitely has an angel love you Linda good bye Rose King”
