He was predeceased by: his parents, Oral Poe and Bessie Poe (Stayton); his daughter Pennie Hernandez-Poe; and his siblings, Tyonia Kamadulski and Danny Poe.
He is survived by: his children, Tricia Poe of Granite City, Ashley Thompson (Thomas) of Prairieville and Jimmie Poe, Jr. of Granite City, Illinois.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
