With solemn reverence, we commemorate Garnet Moran of Granite City, Illinois, whose life came to an end on April 16, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank G. Griffith Sr. and Charlene E. Griffith (Settle); her husband George A. Moran; and her brothers, Gerald Griffith and Frank Griffith Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Michael Moran (Kim) of Edwardsville, IL, Keith Moran of Florida, Clifford Moran (Kim) of Carlinville, IL, Timothy Moran (Kathy) of Granite City, IL, Terri Schiller (Lonny) of Granite City, IL and Cathleen Moran (Todd Hayen) of Morrison, CO; her sister Teresa Sinclair of Kimberly, MO; her grandchildren, Lauren, Katie, Luke, Ryan, Lisa, Nikolas, Erin, Sarah, Joseph, Maggie, Jori, Devan, Owen, Evan, Ian, Hunter, Jayden and Judah; and her great grandchildren, Asher, Remi, Cayde and Mesa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be given to Wilson Park in Granite City, IL or First United Presbyterian Church, 2160 Delmar Avenue, Granite City, IL.
